Bollywood star Sunny Deol, known for his recent appearance in the movie Gadar 2, is currently basking in the glory of its tremendous success. The film has raked in an astounding total of Rs. 512 crores since its release on August 11, 2023. In celebration of this achievement, Sunny hosted a grand success party, where his camaraderie with Shah Rukh Khan caught everyone's attention. Notably, after sharing the screen in Yash Chopra's 1993 film Darr, both the actors didn't communicate for 16 long years. In a recent chat with Rajat Sharma on his show, Aap Ki Adalat, Deol finally opened up about his feud with Shah Rukh and revealed that they both have moved past it. Reflecting on the same, the actor added that they have now realised the childishness of their behaviour. Shedding light on his relationship with SRK, Sunny said: “A time comes when you forget everything that happened and you understand that that should not have happened as that was childishness. Definitely, after that Shah Rukh and I have met each other multiple times. We have talked about films. He watched my film with the whole family, he also called me up.” 

During one of the interviews with Times Now, the Apne actor disclosed that the Jawan actor had not only watched his film Gadar 2 but also commended his performance in it. Sunny added that Gauri Khan and Aryan Khan also extended their congratulations and expressed their delight for his significant achievement. While shooting for Darr, Sunny had expressed his dissatisfaction with the way his character, an Indian Navy officer, was portrayed vulnerable in the film, while Shah Rukh Khan's antagonist character was being celebrated.
